Issue 300! March 3, 2022

Hi Everyone,

Well, spring is coming! I don’t know if you’ve seen our recent Facebook or Instagram posts, but shrubs and trees, as well as soils, mulches, pottery and all the rest, are arriving almost constantly now. We’ve made a few changes inside too, and we can’t wait to show them off, so get ready!

We had to postpone the Macramé class, and now it is taking place on Saturday March 12th by Zoom. Rachael is very excited to ‘meet’ some of our wonderful customers! Creating something all on your own gives you such a great feeling, and I can’t wait to participate myself! See the flyer just below. Also, check out the Seed Starting Class we just added.

For those of you interested in birding, or butterflies, or the general health of our community and planet, please consider the Native Plant class on March 12th. One of our growers, Sunset Farmstead in South Jersey, is coming to share how to incorporate native plantings on your property in an aesthetically pleasing way. ‘Old school’ thought is that native plants are ‘weedy’, or even just weeds, so come see how they aren’t!

For all classes, please call us to register. Click here to see the full spring class list and more details about registering. Allison Hosford of Two Pond Farm will be here March 26th for a vegetable garden planning class, so mark your calendars and register now. If we hold this class indoors, space is limited. Keep checking, more classes are in the works!

See you soon,

Jodie
