Issue 298 February 7, 2022
Celebrate Valentine’s Day by treating yourself (or someone you love) to some beautiful and colorful flowering plants. Orchids, Hyacinths, Kalanchoes, Primroses, African Violets, Anthuriums, Pinks, Florist Mums, Azaleas… Or if you prefer foliage plants, we’ve got a beautiful new selection right now–even a few Philodendron ‘Pink Princess’!
This is also the time of year to think about your garden and plan what you want to grow. The seeds and seed starting supplies are in. It’s a bit early to start most seeds, but come get inspired and prepared and get the best picks! Allison Hosford of Two Pond Farm will be here March 26th for a vegetable garden planning class, so mark your calendars.

Happy Houseplants
February 26, Saturday 11 am
Learn what it takes to keep your houseplants happy with Glenwild’s own Andrew Vlahakos-Darcy. Plants are living things, & we need to tune into their needs and wants. This class will cover houseplant care in winter & beyond, including buying, watering, light requirements, soil, fertilizing & everything you need to know to have a healthy & gorgeous indoor jungle. 10% discount on any houseplant supplies purchased this day. Free-but you MUST register in advance as there is a class limit.
Also, we have a job opportunity. Do you know someone who would be a good fit with us here at Glenwild? We’re looking for someone for outdoor nursery sales, loading, propane, etc. Click here for our full description of this job. Thanks for spreading the word!
We hope to see you really soon!
