Moss & Magic Hanging Garden an eco arts craft class
Step into the enchanting world of living art as we create a whimsical hanging garden inspired by the Japanese art of Kokedama.
In this hands-on EcoArts class, you’ll transform a simple spider plant into a floating botanical masterpiece. We’ll wrap the roots and soil in soft moss, secure it with natural twine and suspend it to create a beautiful gravity-defying garden that can hang in a window, sunroom or favorite cozy corner of your home or even outdoors on a tree! No experience is necessary. You’ll be guided step-by-step and leave with your completed hanging garden, along with care instructions to help your new plant thrive. Taught by Come Play Outside’s Suzanne Van Over.
Join this sweet community of nature lovers, plant enthusiasts, and creative souls for an evening of crafting, connection, and a little bit of moss-covered magic.
Must be 16 years or older to participate.
Upcoming Class Dates: September 29, October 27, November 24
(Every last Tuesday of the month)
